Wood & Living Fair 2026: Hands-On Tokyo Timber Culture in Kiba

A free weekend fair in Kiba Park brings visitors close to Tokyo’s timber culture through practical, family-friendly activities and displays.

Date and time

October 24–25, 2026, 10:00–16:00 each day. Outdoor activities may be cancelled or finish early in poor weather.

Location

Event Square, Kiba Park, Hirano 4-chome, Koto City. Kiba Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line is the most useful nearby station.

Highlights

Hands-on woodworking, log-sawing, wooden-product displays and sales, and an introduction to Tama timber from western Tokyo. Tokyo-grown seedlings are also offered to the first 500 visitors each day.

Booking and admission

Admission is free, and the official announcement lists no advance reservation for general entry. Workshop participation and availability are managed at individual booths on the day.

A strong choice for families, craft lovers and sustainability-focused travelers. Pair it with the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo or a walk through Kiyosumi-Shirakawa.
