Watravel at Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

On September 25, 2026, the watravel team visited Tourism EXPO Japan at Tokyo Big Sight. The official theme for 2026 was “Evolving Forms of Travel” — 進化する旅のカタチ.

September 25 was an industry day, bringing tourism professionals together. We explored displays from destinations across Japan, learned more about domestic travel trends, and exchanged ideas with fellow industry members.

The conversations and discoveries gave us plenty to take back to our work. We left with fresh perspectives and new ideas for creating thoughtful travel experiences for our guests.
