2025 was an important year for watravel.
As travel to Japan continued to flourish, it was also a year of growth and new beginnings for us. Throughout the year, we had the pleasure of welcoming travelers from around the world and helping them experience Japan in a more personal, flexible, and meaningful way.
For watravel, travel has never been simply about moving from one famous attraction to another. We believe the best journeys are built around people — their interests, their pace, and the small discoveries that make a trip memorable.
Exploring Japan, One Journey at a Time
Throughout 2025, we continued to provide private guiding and local travel support for international visitors to Japan.
In Tokyo, our guests explored both iconic landmarks and local neighborhoods — from the peaceful grounds of Meiji Jingu to the colorful streets of Harajuku, the nostalgic atmosphere of Yanaka, and the historic heart of Asakusa.
Every journey was different.
