Yoyogi Park Jazz Festival 2026: A Free Open-Air Concert in Central Tokyo

A newly announced, easy-access cultural stop with five short jazz sets performed outdoors on the Central Lawn of Yoyogi Park.
Date and time
November 3, 2026, 11:00–15:00. Five 30-minute sets begin at 11:10, 12:00, 12:50, 13:40 and 14:30. The event will be cancelled in severe weather.
Location
Central Lawn, Yoyogi Park, Shibuya. Harajuku, Meiji-jingumae (Harajuku) and Yoyogi-koen stations are each about a 3-minute walk from a park entrance, followed by a walk inside the park.
Highlights
The lineup features the Eri Yazaki Trio and Yusuke Shima’s “Meikyoku wo Fuku” Duo, with jazz standards, original music and familiar film themes. A small photo display traces the history of Yoyogi Park.
Booking and admission
Free admission and no advance reservation. Bring a picnic sheet for the grass, and check the official park notice or official X account if the weather is uncertain.
How it fits a Tokyo itinerary
A practical cultural pause between Meiji Jingu, Harajuku and Omotesando. The short sets make it easy to drop in without committing a full day.
