Roppongi Art Night 2026: Tokyo’s All-Night Art Festival Returns

Roppongi’s citywide art festival returns to an overnight format, turning museums, shopping complexes, streets and public spaces into an all-night cultural route.

Date and time

October 31–November 1, 2026. Core overnight hours are 17:00–06:00. Installations can be viewed from 10:00 on October 31 until 22:00 on November 1.

Location

Across Roppongi, including Roppongi Hills, Mori Art Museum, Tokyo Midtown, Suntory Museum of Art, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, The National Art Center, Tokyo, and Roppongi Shopping Street. Roppongi Station is the most useful starting point; Nogizaka Station serves several venues.

Highlights

More than 60 programs span contemporary art, performance, music, film and participatory installations. The 2026 focus is France, with works by seven France-based artists, while Mori Art Museum and Tokyo City View extend opening until 06:00.

Booking and admission

The festival itself is free and no general festival reservation is required. Some individual programs and museum exhibitions charge admission or may set their own entry rules; check the official program before choosing a route.
