ODAIBA DRONE SHOW 2026: A Pixel Moon over Tokyo Bay

For eight nights in September, more than 1,000 drones will turn Odaiba’s skyline into a contemporary moon-viewing spectacle, pairing Japanese seasonal culture with familiar game, anime and film characters.
Date and time
September 4–6 and September 18–22, 2026. Two performances daily at 19:00 and 21:00; each drone sequence lasts about 15 minutes. The two programs alternate by date and time. Severe weather may cause cancellation or postponement.
Location
Odaiba Marine Park, around the Marine House and other areas facing Rainbow Bridge. About 5 minutes from Odaiba-kaihinkoen Station or 7 minutes from Tokyo Teleport Station.
Highlights
A Pixel Moon and Japanese moon-viewing theme unfold above Tokyo Bay, with Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower as the backdrop. The two programs feature Sonic, Puyo Puyo, Persona, Tokyo Revengers, Hypnosis Mic and Godzilla Minus Zero.
Booking and admission
Free to watch; no advance booking is required. Check the official event site on the day because operating times can change with rain or strong winds.
How it fits a Tokyo itinerary
An easy evening finale after Odaiba, Toyosu or a Tokyo Bay cruise. Choose the 19:00 show for families, or the 21:00 show after dinner and waterfront sightseeing.
