Location

Tokyo Metropolitan Central Library, 4F Exhibition Room, 5-7-13 Minami-Azabu, Minato City, inside Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park. About 8 minutes on foot from Hiro-o Station Exit 1.

Highlights

The exhibition presents Edo as a travel destination through five areas—Kanda and Ueno, Asakusa, Ryogoku and Mukojima, Nihombashi, and Edo Castle with Daimyo-koji. Displays include ukiyo-e, district maps, board games and Important Cultural Property drawings from the Kora family’s Edo Castle construction archive.

Booking and admission

Admission is free. No advance booking is announced; visit during exhibition hours.

How it fits a Tokyo itinerary

A strong indoor stop for history-focused travelers before exploring modern Tokyo through Edo-period geography. Pair it with Hiro-o and Arisugawa Park, or use the maps as context for a later Asakusa, Nihombashi or Ryogoku walk.
