Highlights

Each reserved-seat program includes an introduction, a short shimai dance, and a full Noh play. The outdoor stage places Kita-school Noh amid the museum's garden; if weather is unsuitable, the performance moves to Kita Noh Theater in nearby Kamiosaki.

Booking and admission

Reserved tickets go on sale September 1 at 10:00 through the ticketing method named on the museum's official page. S seats are ¥7,000 and A seats ¥5,000. Preschool children are not admitted. A separate exhibition ticket is required to see the Marimekko exhibition.

How it fits a Tokyo itinerary

Ideal for travelers seeking traditional performing arts in an unusual setting. Pair the performance with the museum's Art Deco architecture, Shirokanedai, Meguro, or a quiet dinner nearby; allow for cold-weather clothing.
